How do I create a new ePortfolio section?

Canvas recently introduced a new page design called the New Canvas User Interface (UI). This lesson may include two images for specific steps to show the difference between the two designs. Unless otherwise indicated, the functionality and location of the components remain the same. The view available to you is determined by your institution.

You can organize your ePortfolio by creating multiple sections.

Open ePortfolios

In Global Navigation, click the Account link [1], then click the ePortfolios link [2].

If you are using the legacy interface, in the Help Corner, click the Settings link.

In User Navigation, click the ePortfolios link.

Click the title of the ePortfolio.

Click the Organize Sections link.

To create a new ePortfolio Section, click the Add Sections link.

Type your new section name in the section name field. Press Return (on a MAC keyboard ) or Enter (on a PC keyboard).

You can rename any section by clicking on the Edit icon [1], rearrange sections by clicking and dragging them, or delete sections by clicking the Delete icon [2].

When you are finished adding and/or editing your new ePortfolio Sections, click the Done Editing button.
