Troubleshooting: Invalid badges
Occasionally, you'll receive a badge that will not upload to your backpack. If a badge won't upload, it may be invalid or the recipient ID information might not match.
Unfortunately, some issuers of badges have shut down since their badges were originally awarded, and those badges have become unverifiable.

Some badges may not upload because the email your badge was awarded to doesn't exactly match one of the emails associated with your account. If the original issuer used any uppercase characters in your email address, add the email address as it was awarded and try again. You may need to add an additional email address(es) to your Canvas Badges/Credentials account or update case variants. Instructions for how to do this can be found here. When adding an email, you may see the message, "Unable to add email: Email '______' may already be in use." This may mean an account already exists for the email you were attempting to add.
