Troubleshooting: Invalid badges
Occasionally, you'll receive a badge that will not upload to your Badgr backpack. If a badge won't upload, it may be invalid or the recipient ID information might not match.
Unfortunately, some issuers of badges have shut down since their badges were originally awarded, and those badges have become unverifiable by Badgr
Checking for invalid badges
If you've confirmed that your badges are valid through BadgeCheck.io, you may try uploading the zipped file to your backpack again. Depending on how many badges are in the zipped file you may need to try uploading the file multiple times. Uploading your badges one by one
Some users have reported success with uploading badges one by one to the Badgr Backpack. To do this, unzip your folder to access each badge. You can click the link in the email to restart the process or use the Add badge button when signed into your backpack. Adding additional email addresses to your Badgr account
Some badges may not upload because the email your badge was awarded to doesn't exactly match one of the emails associated with your account. If the original issuer used any uppercase characters in your email address, add the email address as it was awarded and try again. You may need to add an additional email address(es) to your Badgr account or update case variants. Instructions for how to do this can be found here. When adding an email, you may see the message, "Unable to add email: Email '______' may already be in use." This may mean an account already exists for the email you were attempting to add. If you have difficulties with this process, please contact email@example.com for help.
