How do I add students to an assignment moderation set?
Once you have published a moderated assignment, you can add students to the moderation set. Reviewers (any user role that can edit grades) interact with SpeedGrader as they can with any other SpeedGrader assignment and assign a grade for the assignment. The grade is treated as a provisional grade until you review the moderated assignments in SpeedGrader and publish final moderated grades.
Note: Your assignment must be published before you can add students to the moderation set.
Open Moderate Page
To add a student to the moderator set, click the checkbox next to the student's name . To add all students to the set, click the checkbox at the top of the column .
Click the Add Reviewer button .
Note: You cannot add students to the moderation set until you have selected at least one student.
View SpeedGrader Links
Next to the names of each student in the moderation set, SpeedGrader links appear on the page for quick access to view assignment submissions and comments from each reviewer. Moderated assignments support grades for up to two reviewers and one moderator. However, only one reviewer is added at a time. Once a reviewer has created provisional grades, learn how to review moderated assignments in SpeedGrader.
Note: Any student who is not selected will not be part of the moderator set; the first person who reviews the submission is the only person who can set the provisional grade. You can add non-selected students to the moderation set at any time.
