How do I create learning objects from the dashboard in the Elevate Standards Alignment App?
You can create learning objects from the dashboard in the Elevate Standards Alignment App. A learning object can be an asset or resource.
Create New Learning Object
In the Dashboard, locate the Manage Learning Objects tile. Click the Create New button.
Select Learning Object Type
 
In the New Learning Objects window, click the Learning Object Type drop-down list [1] and select an object type [2]. Your results are filtered by your selected object type.
Enter Learning Object Details
 
After selecting the Learning Object Type [1] in the New Learning Objects window, enter the ID [2], add the Question [3], and enter the Stem [4]. You can also select the Grades [5] from the available options: Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade, 6th Grade, 7th Grade, 8th Grade, 9th Grade, 10th Grade, 11th Grade, 12th Grade, or 13th Grade, and then enter the CASE Grades [6].
 
Next, select the Subject [7] from the available list: Civic/Social Responsibility, Communication, Disciplinary Literacy, Ecology, Economics, Environmental Literacy, Geography, Government, History, Language Arts, Mathematics, Personal Financial Literacy, Reading, Science, Science and Technology, Science, Math, and Technology, Science, Tech, Engineering, Environment, Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Social Studies, Technology, The Arts, Workplace Skills, or Writing.
Then, enter the Scope [8], select the Difficulty (EMH) [9], enter the Difficulty [10], specify the high_low value [11], and select the Dok [12].
 
Continue by selecting the Blooms [13], choosing the Item Type [14], and selecting the Reading and Writing Genre [15] from the available options: Drama, Fiction, Nonfiction, Persuasive, or Poetry. Then, add the Link to Details [16] and enter the URL [17].
 
Finally, enter the Topic for Item Bank [18], specify the Assign To value [19], add the Image URL [20], add the Content URL [21], enter the Transcript [22], and enter the Batch [23]. Once all details are complete, click the Create button [24].
