Where are my personal Files as an instructor?

Canvas recently introduced a new page design called the New Canvas User Interface (UI). This lesson may include two images for specific steps to show the difference between the two designs. Unless otherwise indicated, the functionality and location of the components remain the same. The view available to you is determined by your institution.

Personal files include profile pictures, uploaded assignment submissions, and other files uploaded to your personal Canvas file storage area. By default, each user has 50 MB of storage space in Canvas. Administrators can change the quota for personal files for the entire institution.

Please note that when using the Rich Content Editor in a course, you cannot access files from your personal files. To add files to a course, the file must reside in the files for the course. However, you can embed images from your personal files using the Rich Content Editor.
