Where can I find authorization credentials for the Canvas Powerschool API plugin?
Once installed and turned on in your PowerSchool account, you will need to send your Canvas PowerSchool API authorization credentials to Instructure. Your authorization credentials can be found in PowerSchool. Save your credentials as a TXT file with your institution's name. Then securely send your credentials to Instructure.
Open System Setup
In the Main Navigation Setup menu, click the System link.
Open Server System Settings
In the Server menu, click the System Settings link.
Open Plugin Management Configuration
On the System Settings page, click the Plugin Management Configuration link.
Open Plugin Details Page
In the Installed Plugin list, locate the plugin and click the plugin name link.
Open Data Configuration
Click the Data Provider Configuration link.
View OAuth Credentials
View your OAuth Credentials.
Save your credentials as a TXT file with your institution's name. Then securely send your credentials to the Canvas Implementations Team at Instructure. For security reasons this information should NOT be sent via email.
