How do I subscribe or follow a page or area in the Instructure Community?

You can subscribe by following categories (collections of boards), boards (spaces like forums, knowledge bases, or blogs), or replying to specific articles or pages in the Instructure Community to receive updates about any updated content or new content. You can manage followed categories from your Followed Content page.

Note: To subscribe to a specific post, you must either reply to the post and have the "New comments on posts I've participated in" notification enabled or bookmark a post and have the "New comments on my bookmarked posts" setting enabled. You can change your notification settings in the Notification Preferences page.

On your Instructure Community home page, hover over Product Resources tab [1], then select the category you want to follow [2].

In your chosen category, you can select between the Forum [1], Blog [2], Release Notes [3], or The Product Blog tab [4]. Each tab includes its own follow button.

Note: The Product Blog tab encompasses all categories listed in the Product Resources section.

To subscribe to a board, click the Follow button.

To view Notification Preferences, click the Follow or Following button [1].

Select the checkboxes [2] to enable popup notifications [3] and email notifications [4].

To unsubscribe from a category or board, click the Following button [1], then click the Unfollow Category button [2].

To view all followed categories, click the Follow button [1] and then click the View all followed categories icon.
