How do I earn ranks and roles in the Instructure Community?
The Instructure Community uses a ranking system to track member engagement and participation. Ranks provide an easy way to see how engaged someone is in the Instructure Community or if they're part of a special group of users, such as our Community Coaches, Employees, or Community Team ranks.
Community ranks reflect your level of participation in the Instructure Community. As you post, comment, receive likes, earn badges and points, you can move up from newer members to our most senior contributors.
Ranks from newest to most senior:
- Newcomer
- Neighbor
- Contributor
- Colleague
- Ambassador
- Cornerstone
- Mentor
- Legend
Specialty Roles
These roles are assigned manually by the Community team and represent special responsibilities.
Coach
- Members in the Instructure Community Coach program, providing guidance and completing program tasks.Visit the Community Coaches Program page to learn more about the program.
Partner
- Members from partner companies, often active in the Partners space.
Employee
- Instructure employees who engage with the Community in various ways.
Community Team
- Instructure employees who manage, moderate, and maintain the Community.
