How do I update my personal profile information in the Instructure Community?
In the Community, your profile page displays your personal information. You can set and update your personal profile information in the Settings menu.
To update your profile settings, you must be logged in to the Instructure Community.

Open Account & Privacy Settings
In the Global Navigation menu, click the Avatar icon [1]. Then, click the Account & Privacy Settings link [2].
Update Personal Information
In Account & Privacy Settings, click on the Edit Profile Fields link.
In the Edit Profile Fields page, you can update your personal profile information.
To change your first name, enter the new name in the First Name field [1].
To change your last name, enter the new name in the Last Name field [2].
To enter or change your company name, enter the new name in the Company field [3].
To enter or change a short summary about yourself, enter information in the Bio field [4].
To enter or change your title, enter a it in the Title field [5].
To enter or change your location, enter it in the Location field [6].
To save changes, click the Save button [7].
Note: A lock icon [8] is displayed when a field is only visible to you.
Update Avatar
To update your Community avatar, click the Change My Picture link.
In the Choose Avatar page, select an avatar [1]. Then, click the Save Avatar button [2].
Note: You may not have permission to change or upload a custom avatar depending on your Community rank.
