Panda Bot is trained using official Instructure product guides and other written resources that are published in the Instructure Community. Panda Bot uses these materials to generate answers to user questions using artificial intelligence (AI). Community team members have worked with chatbot partner Ada to assure that Panda Bot adheres strictly to training materials that have been provided by Instructure. As material is updated in the Instructure Community, Panda Bot's training material will also be updated.

If you need a quick answer or piece of information, start with Panda Bot. If your question can be answered with an explanation, description, or summary of how something works or how you can accomplish a task, Panda Bot should be able to give you a quick and thorough answer.

If you need help troubleshooting an unusual issue or performing a task, contact our Support team directly. Panda Bot cannot do things like reset passwords, change permissions, import SIS information, create or delete content, or other similar tasks.

Panda Bot can be used to generate answer suggestions in the Community.

When a Community Question has not been responded to by another Community member within 24 hours, Panda Bot will suggest an answer. The AI-suggested answer is visible to only the author and only they can determine it as a solution. If the generated answer is marked as a solution, it can be viewed by the entire Community.
