How do I update my avatar in the Instructure Community?
In the Instructure Community, your profile page displays a default avatar. You can select a new avatar from one of the Community collections, or create your own avatar in the Settings menu.
To update your profile settings, you must be logged in to the Instructure Community.

Open Account & Privacy Settings
In the Global Navigation menu, click the Avatar icon [1]. Then, click the Account & Privacy Settings link [2].
Update Avatar
To update your Community avatar, click the Change My Picture link.
In the Choose Avatar page, you can select an avatar [1] or upload an image using by clicking the Choose File button [2]. Then, click the Save Avatar button [3].
Note: You may not have permission to change or upload a custom avatar depending on your Community rank.
