How do I allow or remove a shopping cart in my institution's Canvas Catalog?

As a Canvas Catalog admin, you can allow or remove a shopping cart for a catalog and its subcatalogs through the root catalog's Catalog Info page.

Open Admin

Open Admin

Click the User Name drop-down menu [1]. Then, click the Admin link [2].

Open Catalogs

Open Catalogs

Click the Catalogs tab.

Select Catalog

Select Catalog

Click the root catalog name link.

Enable Shopping Cart

Enable Canvas Enrollment Sync

Click the Catalog Info tab [1].

By default, the shopping cart is allowed for the catalog and subcatalogs, and the shopping cart enablement toggle button is on [2]. To remove the shopping cart, click the Enable shopping cart for this Catalog and its sub-catalogs toggle button off.  

Save Catalog Info

Save Catalog Info

Click the Save button.
