00:07: What are Analytics? Account admins can see the analytics

00:11: for the entire account to track and analyze what students teachers observers

00:16: and or designers are doing within the account.

00:19: Analytics work in conjunction with account statistics.

00:23: Analytics can be used at any level of the account.

00:25: As long as the user has the account level permission to view Analytics.

00:30: For example, admins in the root account, can view analytics for the account

00:34: and all sub accounts.

00:37: Admins. And sub-accounts can view the analytics for their own sub-accounts and

00:41: any additional sub accounts below them. Admins can also view course,

00:45: analytics within an account or sub-account.

00:48: Instructors can view course analytics.

00:50: If they are also given the analytics permission at the course level.

00:55: In account analytics, there are four main sections Overview

00:59: of what is in the account including courses, teachers students assignments

01:04: discussion topics files, uploaded and media recordings.

01:10: Activity by date allows the admin to view how everyone is participating in the

01:14: courses within the term and account.

01:17: Activity by category allows the admin to view the participation for Pages.

01:22: Assignments modules discussions, grades

01:26: files, collaborations announcements groups

01:30: conferences, General and other

01:34: And grade distribution allows the admin to view what the final grades.

01:38: And in progress grades look like during the term within the account.

01:42: Use account analytics to make sure the students teachers observers

01:47: and or designers or participating in the course.

01:49: See, an overview of the term within the account view, how the

01:54: users are interacting with the courses in the term watch.

01:56: How the grade distribution fluctuates, or stays steady and view the total

02:01: number of courses. Teachers students, assignments submissions

02:06: discussion topics and replies files and media

02:10: recording in the term within the account.

02:13: Instructors can see the analytics for a course to track and analyze what students

02:17: observers and or designers are doing within the course.

02:21: Analytics work in conjunction with core statistics.

02:24: In course analytics, there are four main sections

02:29: Activity by date allows the instructor to see when students view a page or

02:33: participate in the course.

02:36: Submissions allows the instructor to view if students submit the assignment on time

02:40: late or not at all.

02:43: Grades use a box and whisker plot to show the distribution of grades in the course.

02:49: Student analytics shows, page view, participation assignments

02:53: and current score for every student in the course.

02:57: Use course, analytics to predict how students react to course,
