00:07: How do I use conferences in a course as a student?

00:11: In course navigation click the link for your web conferencing tool the

00:15: link name reflects the conferencing tool used by your Institution.

00:20: You can do conferences where you have been invited to participate.

00:24: Conferences are grouped into Parts new conferences and concluded

00:28: conferences both always display the conference name and description.

00:33: New conferences will be listed in the index, but they cannot be accessed until

00:37: the host has started the conference when the conference is available.

00:41: Click the join button. Once the conference has started the conference status

00:45: shows as in progress. You can join the conference for as

00:49: long as the join button is available. Some conference is only allow

00:53: you to join a conference for a specific amount of time.

00:57: Concluded conferences display in the concluded conferences section.

01:00: Each concluded conference shows the title date and description of

01:04: the conference.

01:07: When your conference has concluded click the name of the recorded conference.

01:11: To replay the conference click the recording format link the recording

01:16: format displays as either a presentation or a video.

01:20: The recording format link does not appear until the conference has been rendered for playback.

01:24: The rendering process may take some time to complete the

01:28: length of the conference is indicated in hours minutes eg0

01:32: 18 is 18 minutes. If your conference included

01:36: closed captioning the playback bar for the video displays a cc button

01:40: to view the available captions.

01:44: If you created a conference in a group, you may be able to view statistics

01:48: and notes for your conference. If your institution has upgraded

01:52: to the canvas conference is premium tier.

01:54: You can view conference statistics by clicking the statistics link.

01:58: If your conference included shared notes, you can
