00:07: How do I record or upload media to a message in the inbox?

00:11: In global navigation click the inbox link

00:15: Click the compose icon.

00:18: To attach a media comment or file click the media icon.

00:23: A pop-up window will appear in your browser. If you see a message from instructure.com

00:27: requesting access click the allow button.

00:31: Click the record tab.

00:34: Select your preferred media method record with microphone or record

00:38: with webcam. When you're ready to record click the start recording

00:42: button.

00:44: The timer with the dot indicates you are recording your media comment as well as the

00:48: length of the comment. Once you are finished recording click the Finish

00:54: Before you attach the media comment, you have the chance to review it.

00:58: In the file name field enter a name for your media comment.

01:03: If you want to re-record the recording click the start over button.

01:07: If you are happy with the results, click the save media button.

01:12: If you have a previously recorded media file, you can upload it as part of your

01:16: message. Click the computer tab, click or drag and drop a

01:20: media file to Media uploader to upload a file from your computer.

01:25: To insert your uploaded media. Click the submit button.

01:29: Your media comment displays in your message.

01:31: If you want to remove the comment click the remove icon to remove it

01:35: from the message.

01:37: When you are finished click the send button.

01:40: The media comment displays below the message.
