00:07: How do I use the course activity stream as a student?
00:11: In global navigation click the courses link then click the name
00:15: of the course.
00:17: In the homepage sidebar click the view course stream button.
00:22: The course activity stream contains recent notifications in the course, including
00:26: announcements discussions assignments and conversations.
00:30: This activity stream helps you see all recent activity in your
00:34: course and easily asked questions and posted discussion forums unlike
00:39: course cars on the dashboard. The activity stream does not mimic visibility,
00:43: of course navigation links.
00:46: You can manage recent activity. And of course the same way you can on the dashboard activities
00:51: are indicated by activity type and display an icon for the activity.
00:56: New activity in your account is indicated by a blue.
00:59: Discussions in announcements indicate new activity items published in a
01:03: course and conversations indicate a new message received from a user and of
01:07: course recent activity items remain for 4 weeks.
01:12: You can view the details of each activity by hovering in the notification area
01:16: and clicking the show more link to collapse recent activity.
01:20: Click the show less link.
01:23: You can directly access your recent activities by clicking the activity link to
01:27: remove a notification. Click the remove icon.
