00:07: How do I create rules for an assignment group?

00:10: In course, navigation, click the assignments link?

00:14: Click the assignment group options. Drop down menu.

00:18: Click the edit link.

00:20: For each assignment group, you can create one of three grading rules.

00:25: Dropper, ignore the lowest scores for each student.

00:29: Dropper, ignore the highest scores for each student.

00:33: Never drop a specific assignment.

00:36: To drop a certain number of lowest scores, enter the number in the lowest scores

00:40: field. You can use the arrows to adjust the number.

00:44: To drop a certain number of highest scores enter the number in the highest scores

00:48: field. You can use the arrows to adjust the number.

00:53: To tell canvas to never drop a certain assignment.

00:55: Click the ADD and assignment link.

00:59: In the assignment, dropdown menu, select the name of the assignment in the assignment

01:03: group that should never be dropped.

01:06: To select another assignment. Click the add, another assignment link.

01:11: When you are finished adding rules, click the save button.

01:15: In the assignment group, toolbar canvas will show the number of rules assigned

01:19: to the group. Hover over the link to view the rules.
