What is the Pinboard in Ask Your Data?
In Ask Your Data, the Pinboard allows you to effectively bookmark important results from your chats for easy future reference. You can organize these saved pins by creating new pinboards or adding to existing ones. You'll find all your boards, including those created by you and those shared with you by others, conveniently located in the Pinboard library. This feature ensures your key data discoveries are saved, organized, and readily accessible when you need them.
Note: Sub-account administrators can use Ask Your Data (AYD) directly within their own sub-accounts, where AYD is scoped to display only the data relevant to that specific sub-account.
What is the Pinboard in Ask Your Data?
1. Pinboard
The pinboard feature enables you to bookmark data results for future reference. You can save an unlimited number of pins along with the associated data they represent.
2. Pin Chat
To pin a chat, click the Pin It button.
3. Add to Existing Pinboard
You can add the chat to an existing pinboard by selecting the pinboard checkbox
4. Create New Pinboard
or click the Create New Pinboard link.
5. Save Data
Then click the Save button.
6. View Pin It Notification
After you have pinned your chat, a notification icon displays on the Pin It button.
7. Open Pinboard
To view your pinboards, click the Pinboard tab.
8. View Pinboard
All saved pins are displayed in your pinboard.
9. Open Pinboard Library
To open the pinboard library, click the Pinboard Library icon.
10. View Pinboard Library
The Pinboard library is separated between two categories: Your Boards and Shared with You. Your Boards are created from personal Ask Your Data inquiries. Shared with You boards are shared with you as a viewer or collaborator.
11. Search Pinboards
To search for a pin within a pinboard, enter a keyword in the Search field.
12. Create New Pinboard
To create a new pinboard, click the New Pinboard button.
13. Grid View
The Pinboard display is defaulted to Grid View.
14. List View
To view the Pinboard as a list, click the List View icon.
15. Open Pinboard Options
To open the Pinboard options, click the Options icon.
16. View Pinboard Options
From the Pinboard options menu, you can Download, Edit, or Delete a pinboard.
17. Rearrange Pinboard
To rearrange your pins. click and drag the Arrange icon to the desired location.
18. View Pin Options
You can edit, delete, or download a pin in the pin options menu. To view pin options, click the options icon.
19. Edit Pin
To edit the pin name, click the Edit name link then edit the name.
20. Delete Pin
To delete the pin. click the Delete link.
21. Download Pin
To download a pin, click the Download dropdown menu. Then select your download preference.
22. View Chat
To revisit the chatbot conversation of a pin, click the View Chat button.
23. View Full Screen
To view the data in full screen, click the Full Screen button.
