How do I translate an Inbox Message using IgniteAI Translations
This guide applies only to institutions that have enabled the AI Translation feature preview. If your user interface differs from what is shown, the feature is not enabled at your institution.
To learn more about the feature preview, ask questions, or comment on functionality, navigate to the IgniteAI Translations for Inbox, Discussions and Announcements user group.
This feature currently supports the following languages:
- Catalan
- Chinese (Simplified)
- Dutch
- English
- French
- German
- Portuguese (Brazil)
- Russian
- Spanish
- Swedish
Open Inbox
In Global Navigation, click the Inbox link.
Enable Translation
To include translations in an Inbox message, click the Include translated version of this message toggle on [1]. Select the preferred language [2], then click the Translate button [3]. Choose whether to display the translation first or second [4].
The translated message displays along with the original text [5].
Click the Send button [6].
