What are Profile Settings?
Profile are user account options that let you control your personal information in Canvas.

Open Profile Settings
In Global Navigation, click the Account link [1], then click the Profile link [2].
Profile Settings
You can view your user profile settings such as your profile picture, name pronunciation, contact, biography, and links.
Open Profile Picture
If your institution has enabled profile pictures, to add or modify your profile picture, click the Edit Profile Picture button.
Select Profile Picture
You can upload a picture from your computer, take a picture using your computer's camera, or import an image from an existing Gravatar account [1]. When you're finished, click the Save button [2].
Open Profile Settings
If allowed by your institution, you may edit your profile settings by clicking the Edit Profile button.
Edit Profile Settings
You can edit your Name [1], Name Pronunciation [2], Pronouns [3], Title [4], Contact [5], Biography [6], and Links [7].
To save your changes, click the Save Profile button [8]
Note(s):
- Some settings may not be available to you. If you are not able to edit your profile settings, you will need to contact your institution to change this information.
