How do I enable Canvas for Elementary in my sub-account?

To enable the Canvas for Elementary (beta) setting in a sub-account, the Canvas for Elementary feature option must first be made available and enabled at the root account level. By default, the Canvas for Elementary feature is hidden in Canvas accounts. If the feature is not enabled in your root account, contact your institution's Customer Success Manager (CSM) for assistance. Once the Canvas for Elementary feature option is made available and enabled at the root account, you can turn on the feature at the sub-account level by enabling the Canvas for Elementary (beta) setting.

Note: If the Canvas for Elementary (beta) setting does not display in your sub-account, the Canvas for Elementary feature has not been enabled at the root account level. Contact your institution's Customer Success Manager (CSM) for assistance.

In Global Navigation, click the Admin link [1], then click the name of the account [2].

In Account Navigation, click the Sub-Accounts link.

To display all sub-accounts, click the Down Arrow icon.

Open the sub-account in which you'd like to enable the Canvas for Elementary setting.

To enable the setting in the main sub-account and subsequent sub-accounts, click the main sub-account name [1].

To enable the setting in a single sub-account, click the sub-account name [2].

To create a new sub-account, click the Add icon [3].

In the Settings tab [1], enable the Canvas for Elementary setting by clicking the Canvas for Elementary (beta) checkbox [2].
