How do I create outcome groups for an account?

Grouping learning outcomes in an account allows for organization of multiple related outcomes.

This lesson displays how to create outcome groups in the classic Outcomes page view. If the Outcomes page in your account displays differently than the images in this lesson, learn how to create outcome groups in an account that has enabled the Improved Outcomes Management feature option.

Open Account

In Global Navigation, click the Admin link [1], then click the name of the account [2].

Open Outcomes

In Account Navigation, click the Outcomes link.

Add Outcome Group

Click the New Group button.

Note: If the New Outcome button does not display, your institution may be using Improved Outcomes Management.

Create Outcome Group

Create Outcome Group

Type a Learning Outcome group name in the Name this group field [1]. Type a description in the Rich Content Editor [2]. Click the Save button [3].

View Outcome Group

View Outcome Group

View the Outcome group. You can create new outcomes within the group by creating a new outcome. You can also move outcomes and outcome groups into the new group.
