How do I view multi-session details in New Quizzes as an admin?
As an admin, you can view detailed student activity in New Quizzes, including client IP addresses for quiz questions and information about multiple session access. This activity is recorded and can be viewed in the Moderate page.
Open Moderate
From the Build page, click the Moderate tab.
View Activity Log
To view the student's activity log for each quiz question, click the View Log link [1].
If the student is currently taking the quiz and they are using multiple browsers or devices, the In Progress link and warning icon displays. To view the multiple sessions details, click the In Progress link [2].
Note: For multi-session activity to be recorded and viewable, the Detect Multiple Sessions setting must be enabled by the instructor within the quiz settings. The multi session details can only be viewed by admins.
View Multiple Sessions Details
The Activity Log page displays the start date and time [1], Elapsed time [2], and Event details [3].
View Event Details
To view the event details, click the Expand icon [1]. The Event details displays the Client IP address [2], Browser session ID [3], Browser [4], and Operating System [5].
