How do I allow students to create anonymous course discussions?
You can allow students to create anonymous course discussions from the Discussions page.
Notes:
- If a student creates a discussion that includes a file, the file will be added to the unfiled folder in course files.
- If there are no discussion submissions, you can edit the anonymity details.
Open Discussions
In Course Navigation, click the Discussions link.
Open Settings
Click the Settings icon.
Edit Discussion Settings
Check the Create discussion topics checkbox [1]. To allow students to create anonymous course discussions, click the Create anonymous discussion topics checkbox [2].
To save discussion settings, click the Save Settings button [3].
