How do I allow a page to be a Mastery Path module item?
If you want to add a page to a Mastery Path in a module, you must first assign the page to Mastery Paths. Otherwise, the page will not appear as a conditional item when you add an item to a Mastery Path.
Notes:
- The Mastery Paths setting can be managed in your course if the setting has been enabled by your institution.
- If you assign a page in Mastery Paths, the page will not be visible to students until it is added to a Mastery Path.
- Course items such as links, files, and media content must be embedded in a page or assignment to be used as conditional content in Mastery Paths.
Open Modules
In Course Navigation, click the Modules link.
Open Page
Click the name of the page in the module.
Edit Page
Click the Edit button.
Manage Assignment Settings
At the bottom of the page, click the Manage Assign To link.
Assign to Mastery Paths
Change the assignees in the Assign To field to Mastery Paths [1].
By default, students can access the page any time after it is assigned to them by the Mastery Path. However, to provide specific dates and times for the page to be available, enter dates and/or times in the Available From and Until areas [2].
To save the page assignment details, click the Apply button [3].
Save Page
Click the Save button.
