How do I edit a module?
You can edit a module in the module settings menu. Editing a module allows you to rename the module, lock modules, add prerequisites, add requirements, or edit the module assignment details.
Open Modules

In Course Navigation, click the Modules link.
Open Assign To
Locate the name of the module and click the Options icon [1]. Select the Edit link [2].

In the Settings tab, edit the module settings you want to change. You can rename the module [1], lock modules [2], add prerequisites [3], or add requirements [4].
Edit Module Assignment Details

To edit module assignment details, click the Assign To tab. You can assign a module to everyone, individual students, or sections.
Update Module

When you are ready to save your Module changes, click the Save button.
Re-Lock Module

If you change any module requirements or prerequisites that students have already fulfilled, Canvas will ask if you want to let students progress through the course or re-lock the modules and require students to complete the requirements again.
To re-lock the modules, click the Re-Lock Modules button [1]. To allow students to continue without any changes, click the Continue button [2].
