How do I align an outcome with a rubric in a course using Enhanced Rubrics?
You can align any outcome in your course with a rubric. Rubrics help students understand assignment expectations and how their submissions will be graded. Aligning outcomes with rubrics allows for additional assessment and measurable performance tracking.
To align an outcome, it must already exist in your course. You can align outcomes created at the account level, or create course-level outcomes first.
Notes:
- You can add outcomes to rubrics, but you cannot add rubrics to outcomes.
- You cannot edit a rubric after it has been added to more than one assignment in a course.
- This lesson describes rubrics using the Enhanced Rubrics feature. If the steps shown differ from what you see, refer to the guide on aligning outcomes with a rubric in the Classic Rubric interface.
