How do I enable status icons for color blindness in the Gradebook?
As an instructor, you can enable status icons for colorblindness in Gradebook Settings. When enabled, a symbol displays next to each status in the Gradebook to provide an additional visual indicator.
Open Grades
In Course Navigation, click the Grades link.
Open Gradebook Settings
Click the Settings icon.
Enable Status for Color Blindness
In the View Options tab [1], click the View status for colorblindness checkbox [2].
To save the changes, click the Apply Settings button [3].
View Status Icons
Status icons display in the Gradebook. Standard statuses include Late [1], Missing [2], Excused [3], Resubmitted [4], and Dropped [5].
If enabled at your institution, the Extended status may also display [6].
If your institution has set up custom statuses, these appear as basic icons [7].
To view the corresponding status for each icon, hover over the icon [8].
Note: The Extended status is not a default standard status and must be enabled by your Customer Success Manager.
