You can drill down into any installed LTI tool to see a detailed report on its specific usage. This view summarizes overall activity and engagement, and highlights the users and areas with the most interaction. The data can also be filtered by various criteria to further customize the report.
How do I view and filter results for individual LTI Tools in LTI Usage?
1. Navigate to Installed Tools
Scroll and navigate to the Installed Tools list.
2. Open LTI Tool
Locate and click the LTI Tool name.
3. View LTI Tool Dashboard
The LTI tool overview data displays on the LTI Tool Dashboard.
4. View Total Launches
The Total Launches are defined as users clicking on an app inside of Canvas. The count includes all launches regardless of registration, version, installation location, placement, or launch point.
5. View Unique Users
The Unique Users represent the number of specific individuals who have launched in app. If a user launches an app five times, that counts as one unique user.
6. View Sub-Accounts
The Sub-Accounts with launches shows the number of sub-accounts that have had at least one launch of the specified apps.
The Sub-Accounts without launches shows the number of sub-accounts that have had no launches of the specified apps.
7. View Courses
The Courses with launches shows the number of courses that have had at least one launch of the specified apps.
Courses without launches shows the number of courses that have had no launches of the specified apps.
8. View Top 5 Champions
The Champions are defined here as the five Sub-Accounts, Courses, and Instructors with the most app launches.
9. Open Filters
To filter the individual LTI tool data, click the Filter button.
10. Filter Options
You can filter by Sub-Accounts, Courses, Roles, Versions, Time. Period, and Date Range.
11. Apply Filters
To apply filters, click the Apply Filter button.
12. Show Filter Details
To displays filters, click the Show Filter Details link.
13. Clear Filters
To clear filters, click the Clear Filters link.
